The Chopin Society in Israel was established in 1991 by Duo Pianists, Eden and Tamir. The Society is a member of the International Federation of Chopin Societies.

The purpose of the Chopin Society in Israel is to encourage and support young pianists by organising concerts, master classes and exchange of artists with other Chopin Societies.
2010 CHOPIN YEAR IN ISRAEL
The Chopin y in Israel plans to celebrate Chopin's 200th anniversary by presenting a series of monthly concerts-recitals with Israeli and Polish artists. The pinnacle will be within the frame of the Israel Festival The project will be in cooperation with the Polish Institute in Israel, the Chopin Institute and the International Federation of the Chopin Societies. The concerts will be performed by Israeli, young performers-, and Polish guest artists and ensembles. Included is alist of the works (complete) by Chopin which ill be presented in 2010
